In order to facilitate any luck with this site, I spent a majority of my time and effort putting together all the other pre-assumed pieces of information to the point to which I now find myself tired of typing...yet, in some necessitated fashion, I feel obligated to complete this final daunting task.
Where to begin...? First off, I opted for this technique due to an increasing number of failed attempts to courageously approaching those of the opposite sex at bars, clubs, etc...as one would assume that such a confident, well-spoken individual is only looking for a short-term romp...and in some circumstances, I can see their point.
Yet, in an effort to negate any said failures...and to be honest, frequent the bar scene less and less, I find myself here enjoying the perils of single life. To sum myself up...from a large, middle class family near the airport, putting myself through a private university with multiple jobs through high school and college, to a young professional working downtown for a very well-known company. Good things happen to those that work their butts off.
I take pride in my extensive vocabulary. I love to tailgate. I live for Saturdays in the fall. I live in Shadyside. I like conspiracies. I've read every Dan brown and Steve Berry novel. Twice. I sing karaoke -- well. I mimic Gavin Degraw. I love brunettes, and melt for those with black hair - but NEVER is that the underlying factor - nor will it ever be. Stimulate my mind - and you won my heart.
I enjoy the social scene quite a bit, yet can easily find myself cooking a spectacular meal at home while enjoying some good wine. I had worked two jobs out of college for 3 years, just recently quiting the drink-slinging task of bartender...yet, find myself enjoying dive bars more and more. I love both downtown and Shadyside -- and through my previous side-job life...have a lot of good friends at the local hot spots. My buddies and I have a small tradition of starting our Saturdays off at Fat Heads, and moving forward, wherever the fun may take us. I'm the type, after a few drinks, to lead the cheering at a Pirate game, and have been known to begin a many stadium-wide wave. The Pirates are my long-lost love of professional sports, yet the Steelers and Penguins both have a place in my heart as well. Nothing beats the NHL playoffs -- when the Pens win at least #Pensin7.
I am a History buff at heart, and worked diligently to obtain a pre-law degree, yet, now find myself in the financial world. Cash never sleeps. Literally - my job has me everywhere. i do a lot of entertaining yet find myself blessed to have such a wonderful position.
I am looking for someone fun...someone who can banter with the best yet hold an intellectual conversation as well. Someone who can go from the art museum to a dive bar. Someone who enjoys getting dirty yet only to go home and make herself beautiful for the night out on the town...
