I am brand new to the Raleigh area, having just relocated here for work. I packed up everything that I own and moved here on a whim, which is either the craziest or the bravest thing that I have ever done. Between my career and my daughter, I stay pretty busy, but I can always make time for someone who proves himself to be worth the effort.
A few things about me....
I am a terrible chef, but I get brownie points for wearing an apron.
Have never been able to successfully shuffle a deck of cards.
Like the burned cookies more than the perfect ones.
Domestic GODDESS.
Own (and use!) my own set of power tools.
Have been afraid of the dark, graveyards, Bigfoot, and ghosts for 31 years.
Can check my own oil.
Drink from the carton, even at other people's houses.
Need GPS to find my way home from work, especially in the dark.
Believe in eating dessert first.
Consider it a miracle if I make it through the day without spilling something on my shirt.
Definitely getting better with age.
Love white wine (the cheap kind without a cork) and Midori sours.
Dream of traveling the U.S. in a fluorescent V.W. bus.
Always at least five minutes late.
Could easily survive solely on bottled water, protein bars, and caffeine.
Signature scent is Irresistible Apple.
Plan to see Cirque du Soleil onstage someday.
Want to learn to drive a stick shift so I can outrun people at stoplights.
Think hockey games (and the fights that occur there) were created solely for my enjoyment.
Bad gardener.
Realize that ice cream sandwiches have to melt a little in order to fully appreciate them,
Love big sunglasses and hate getting in water.
Snort when I laugh, which only makes me laugh harder.
Being around me is never boring, to say the least....
