I'm starting a new chapter in my life after a period of "down time." I'm looking for someone to share life's experiences with - someone to have fun with, become friends, and maybe more...?
I'm generally an outdoor type who likes to get out and do all kinds of things... meandering through museums, walking on the beach, riding my motorcycle, backpacking in the wilderness, etc. I like snowboarding, but I haven't done it for a couple years, so I need to get back to the slopes and tune up. I love the beach, the harbor, San Diego... anything to do with the ocean. I'm equally comfortable camping in the mountains and desert, hanging out at a wine bar, or just chilling at home. I also like to cook.
I am an old-fashioned kind of guy who still believes in chivalry and good manners. I will open your door for you, clear your place at the table, bring you a glass of wine or a bowl of popcorn or whatever... so if you feel your independence is threatened if a guy treats you that way, I'm probably not your type. On the other hand, If you like spontaneous hugs, kisses, massages, etc., then we'll get along just fine. I like to do for others, whether it's volunteering at a food bank, making dinner for friends, or just random acts of kindness.
I'm attracted to women who can dress up for the right occasion, but who are also comfortable just putting their hair back in a pony tail, throwing on some jeans or shorts, and heading out to find some fun. I'm reasonably fit and looking for someone the same, so if you're comfortable in your "funky-sexy" jeans and t-shirt look, all the better!
I like spontaneity and spur-of-the-moment adventures, like a drive up the coast or weekend in Santa Barbara. I like to travel when I can - Switzerland last year, maybe Italy or Spain next year? There is still a lot of the U.S. to see as well, and Canada too.
Let's make our first adventure getting to know each other a little more over a glass of wine, a margarita, or coffee. A lot of smiles, a few laughs, and maybe a spark or two? Who knows? To be continued in person....
