I am a novice at this kind of thing. Just thought I'd take a gander and see what all of this hubbub was about. Thought it might be an interesting alternative-- What's to lose? About me: I'm someone that prefers to listen and hear about others than talk about myself, so *blush*, I guess I'll approach it this way... what would my friends and family say about me? In a nutshell, I'm a romantically-minded (in terms of life) idealist, with a healthy balance of pragmatism. I am loyal, trustworthy and tend to see the good in everything. I laugh a lot and most (unless they're lying) would concur that I have quite a sense of humor. I'm spontaneous, love an adventure, and see life as such. Very loving and giving to all those important to me. A bit sassy. I am creative-minded, and tend to excel in things which allow me to express it (art, language, culture, design). Am pretty active as well. I grew up here for most of my life. Lived in London when I was little, went to school in NY and then boarding school in Switzerland. College back here. Background in design. Recently moved back... My Ideal: I'm looking for someone to laugh with, who enjoys life, is intellectually curious, and FUN to be around. A witty sense of humor and SMARTS are a must. There is nothing sexier than a brainy man who is in touch with his silly side. A confident, well-educated, cultured man. Someone who is as open-minded, as he is comfortable in his own skin... holding steadfast to his convictions and values. That is alluring. Being handsome doesn't hurt... An adventurous, up-beat and open-minded outlook is important. Someone, who sees the glass as half-full, and life as a true opportunity to grow and expand. Being spiritually aware is important. As is, appreciating and nurturing the relationships in one's life- family, friends etc... something very important to me. Someone who- when the end of the day comes round- is excited, and looks forward to, unwinding and hanging out with me, as much as I do with him (thinking heart skips beat...excited)... I know it's out there Reading the above, I must admit I sound a bit cheesy, but holding out for the total package... and I think that MIGHT cover the major bases. Stay tuned.... (ps.
