I should title the post "under construction," as it would convey of the feeling of this section. I just can't talk about myself. But it also captures who we are in life--I see life as a continual process of learning, living each day to the fullest. It reminds me of a job training in which they made us introduce ourselves. Not fun if you don't exactly know what to say to a room full of strangers. I had to think fast and as my turn came up I said, "I write poetry, I sculpt, give my sister's dog haircuts, and have been training for a bike century." The lady leading the training asked me to clarify a couple of things that intrigued her, asking about the dog and the rest, but to make the story short I remember saying something about a poem on sister's dog's mullet. She then gave me a daft look and calmly said, "Brilliant! You're a Renaissance man." I didn't get it at first. I'm not sure I get it now. I don't know if I blushed, as I blush easy, like when I'm laughing too much, or say the right thing at the wrong time, but it ended well. I get along with people, even when most others don't. I'm patient and have a laid back personality, though I'm goal-oriented and driven. I'm quite straight-forward and readily admit my faults, and totally seek forgiveness as much as I give it. I have an interest in culture and language, and enjoy travel because it puts you out in a huge world and no matter where you go the inner diamond of each person links you together. I see life as a continual process of learning, living one day at time, being positive and having a sense of humor. Other things I enjoy include being physically active, eating healthily, and spending time with family whom I am close to, or friends, and volunteering. I'm looking to meet someone who'd like to share in what life offers. L'amour nunca muere, don't you think?
