Hi! I'm a well balanced and fun loving guy... spontaneity and excitement are great, but so is stability and the need for goals.
I was born in Colorado and raised in Park City, UT (no, not a Mormon;-), so I love the mountains. I grew up ski racing, playing competitive tennis, mountain biking, hiking and camping. Anything outdoors and active is always great! (Although I'm also just as fine relaxing at home sometimes too).
During high school and college I lived with native families in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Spain and China, working with the locals to build schools and other public works projects. These were amazingly transformative experiences and formed the my foundation of thinking that keeps me happy and balanced...it's amazing how little one needs to be happy...
Yet I wouldn't consider myself an "out-of-touch nature hippy" or "a never-satisfied world traveler". I don't reject the materialistic world that is LA, but I also don't base my happiness on possessions or status. No where in the world have I been in a city where there's such a creative and unique group of people.
I came here to go to college and decided to open a restaurant near it after discovering a delicious street food in while living in Spain. My friend and I opened our first restaurant location 10 months after graduating college and have since open a total of 3 locations, 2 serving awesome beers, sangrias, and cocktails. Our concept is upscale quick service with an emphasis on interesting design, excellent food quality and super friendly customer service. Each location has its own feel and we are excited to continue to open more (Santa Monica coming soon!)
I'm looking for a woman who has the same outlook on life as I do: namely that with enough drive, commitment and positive thinking one can accomplish anything (I know this to be true:-).
I want someone who wakes up with a naturally positive outlook 95% of the time, without needing a reason--someone who understands that the big picture is what matters and all the small details will work themselves out.
