I'm a bit of an adventurer living a professional life. I've lived in NYC before, but just moved back again after a few years in San Francisco. Before that I worked for the UN in Africa and lived on a beach in the Caribbean--I'm still not sure which suits me best but I'm very happy doing the big city thing now (even if it means trading in my flip-flops for heels). I decided it's time to put down roots--the adventures have been awesome, but now I'm ready to settle down in one place.
Some stuff about me: I love trying new restaurants and am somewhat of a foodie. I never miss a chance to go scuba diving and really want to learn to sail. I lived abroad for a number of years and did quite a bit of continent-hopping, and would love to meet someone who also has the travel bug. Beach-time is important. I have awesome parking karma, even though I don't really use that in NYC (but will happily donate my skills for road-trips). I appreciate sarcasm. I'm an attorney at a big law firm and like my job--most days. I'm more into bars than clubs. I can say the alphabet backwards and use it as a party trick to win bets.
Some stuff about you: You are intelligent, educated, quirky and can crack me up. You also think I'm hilarious. =) You're equally comfortable in a dive bar or a four star restaurant, know the difference between "its" and "it's," and can teach me something new and interesting. You're happy, confident but unpretentious, and always up for trying new things.
