Originally from Northern California, I moved to SoCal for the usual reasons: school and work.
I work in the medical field, and sometimes I really enjoy it. I am content with my job, but always looking for a better opportunity.
I genuinely enjoy making someone happy. I am not a selfish person, maybe too much of the giver, but I really like it when my significant other is happy. I enjoy going out and grabbing a beer or two, beach days and nights, athletic events, watching movies at home, camping, hiking, snowboarding and golf. Among others.
I am not into the club scene. I don't like house music or rap very much. I don't want to hang out with someone who is going to be on their phone the entire time. I am honest, sometimes to a fault. I will not lie to someone unless it is absolutely necessary.
I am looking for someone who is willing to be completely comfortable with themselves in all aspects of their lives. Don't say you are a social butterfly if you spend 80% of your weekends on the couch. I cannot stand people who are embarrassed about themselves for any reason. Everyone has something they don't like about themselves, but own up to it and make it a positive. I work pretty strange hours and as a result have not made a whole lot of friends in Southern California. I want someone who can have fun with me but also be straightforward and serious if need be. Someone who does not take themselves too seriously, who can make fun of themselves or me without anyone getting hurt. Someone who enjoys being treated like a queen, but can also be comfortable spending an entire day in sweat pants watching movies.
