Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Brian, I’m 26 years old (almost 27), and am in medical school at UC Irvine. I love what I do, and feel very blessed to be in a profession where I can help people and perhaps brighten their day. I do spend a lot of time working towards my career goals, but don’t take myself that seriously. My friends know me as an upbeat, positive, and witty person who enjoys making people laugh. I’ve daydreamed a lot about being a stand-up comic, but it’s much easier to watch Daniel Tosh videos and copy his jokes than it is to perform your own material in front of a group of people! True Story: I once did a 5 minute bit for a friend’s birthday roast (the contents of which are floating around on Youtube somewhere).
Writing about myself is turning out to be pretty difficult (and perhaps a tad bit of a boring read), so I’ll try to spice it up a little with an ice-breaker I learned a few years back. It’s called 2 Truths and a Lie. I’ll let you figure out the lie...
1) I’m facebook friends with Justin Timberlake. And for the record he friend requested me.
2) I once ate an orange crayon during naptime in kindergarten because I mistook it for a Cheetoh. I learned two things that day. Don’t eat things off the floor. And thank God Cheetohs aren’t made of wax. They’d be the worst snack ever.
3) On my old laptop the top 2 most played iTunes songs were Tupac’s “Changes” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You Been Gone.”
Now a little bit about what I’m looking for (provided you passed the test of correctly picking which number is the fib). I’m looking for someone who first and foremost is honest, cares about others, makes time for family and friends, enjoys a sarcastic sense of humor, and hopefully is pretty cute to boot.
