My friends would describe me as fun loving, compassionate, and intelligent (she said so modestly). I love to have fun and to laugh, which is pretty easy for me because I find most things funny. I am an pretty social person and spend a lot of my time with my very excellent group of friends and my absolutely amazing mom. As much as I love big nights out on the town, I cherish my quiet down time as well. Getting dressed up is great and going out is great, but sometimes just reading a good book or watching an awful TV show and going to bed at 9:30pm is pretty wonderful.
I am a bit of a work out freak and it's something that I really enjoy doing with other people. I love going to shows...lately it has been where the majority of my paychecks have been allotted. I really appreciate any sort of live performance; concerts, musicals (my mom and I have seen Wicked FIVE times), plays, etc. I love reading and could likely spend an entire day getting lost in one of the many quirky used book stores that LA seems to have an abundance of. I also REALLY enjoy eating. I am always up for trying new things, especially when they are spicy. I also love to travel, and yes, I know everyone says that. I haven't been to many places but I try to go on one big travel adventure a year. My next trip will likely be to Peru or Southeast Asia (again).
I grew up in Socal and went to UCLA for undergrad. I moved back east to go to grad school at Duke and lived in DC for a bit; but I am VERY glad to be back in LA. I am looking for someone who can keep up with the variations in my life and who is open to exploring new things. There is so much to do and to see in this lifetime and I would really like to share all of that with a funny, generous, and thoughtful individual...who does not take pictures of himself in the mirror with his smart phone.
