Five days a week I go to a place they make movies and TV shows and my job is to sell them to people. It’s like summer camp many days and beats anything else I can figure out to do, so I’m happy about it.
I am a graduate of UCSB, where I double-majored in Political Science and Spanish. Lived abroad in Spain and South America during most of my 20s. I sometimes ‘fast’ accidentally, because I forget to eat. Then I get real hungry. And I eat. A lot. I spent 2 years at graduate school in Boston. Great city.
I like cars and driving them. I own one.
I like mountains. Seeing them, climbing them, smelling them, riding my amazing mountain bike in them. I like the escape and adventure of it all.
I also like swimming, biking and running. Triathlon is a big part of my life. Team Sports that involve running are also good. The Most Interesting Man in the world campaign is genius. For 2 minutes I considered putting his photo on my profile pic.
I can obsess on things. Four beautiful guitars live with me. I play only one of them.
Most important in my life are my 2 young kids that split time with me and their mom. They're 8 and 9, smart, fun and kind.
I absolutely can’t stand the taste or smell of mushrooms. They make me nauseous. I’m not a picky eater and love food..paella, steak, any fish, grilled veggies, whatever, I’ll eat it. As long as there’s no mushroom involved.
Rock and roll is a big influence in my life. Guitars yes, electronic not so much. I played in bands (drums). Then decided I'd better stick with school. Led Zep and Guns and Roses did rule. Love-the- rhyme.
I use dashes too frequently.
Love is great and belongs in everyone's life. It's really about chemistry though, right? I am a hopeless romantic.
Most of the time, I don’t take myself very seriously. Most of the time, you shouldn’t, either. Humility, modesty, and generally having life under control are important things to me and something I'd love to find in a smart and kind woman.
I'm laid back, music loving, fitness friendly and try (try) to keep a smile on my face when things go pear-shaped. Family is important to me.
