Imagine James Bond......ok...now imagine James Bond with two daughters. Maybe that's me.
I've been very content to simply be a daddy for a number of years now but as my girls have grown they've become more aware of something missing in my life. Someone special. They confronted me recently and said "Daddy, it's time". They went on to offer to find me my new special someone but I declined. So I'm giving this a try.
I do miss the romance...and I have to admit that I'm a sucker for a good love story. Holding hands seems quite simple but it means a lot to me. I quite like when I see an older couple who still hold hands. It would be perfect to meet someone who values the simple things. Moments to pause from our busy world and look into each others eyes....sorry...sappy, sappy, sappy...but a window into my world anyway.
I live my life as an example to my girls and do my best to ensure that they will always think that their daddy is a super hero..which, of course,...I am ;)
I spent my formative years in Scotland. So I talk a little funny and I have a passion for football (soccer) which I've played all my life. I really like to feel healthy through activities...not so much through healthy eating. I try...but I'm Scottish...what can I do? A long hike with my dog and a burger for lunch. Is that bad?
