I am a laid-back, down-to-earth guy with a great sense of humor, and a mind for the deeper questions in life. I love adventure -- I've been skydiving, white water rafting on the nations largest rapids in West Virginia, spent two months hiking around the wilderness of southern Utah, and try to get out to Park City to ski as often as possible. I love kayaking, hiking, climbing, camping, etc. -- anything that keeps me out in nature. I took two years off of college to travel the western U.S. and settled in Prescott, AZ for about a year and a half. I love soccer -- I was a starting defender for two different universities. I am very close with my two older sisters and younger brother. I have a dog -- a three year old St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix who weighs about 170 lbs.
I have a BA in english so I enjoy reading and writing. I am a freelance journalist and photographer in my spare time. Looking for a girl who prefers the simple life -- not materialistic, not superficial. I've been hesitant to try this online stuff, but the times "they are a changin" and since I am not an overly aggressive or forward guy, and can be a little shy in the beginning, the bar scene just isn't my thing when it comes to meeting people.
