I am originally from across the river apiece, from the lovely land we call Jersey. It usually gets a pretty bad rap, but it's actually a pretty great place to grow up. Then I went to a somewhat conservative college in the midwest which severely stunted my growth, but thankfully I am in the arts, so most of the damage has been counteracted. I now live up in Harlem, right along the Hudson (love to live near water -- always have).I want my guy to be masculine and kind and considerate and generous and intelligent and funny, and to enjoy and value all the unique things about me. I want a guy who is a "guy". I want someone who is athletic, who encourages me to let out my naturally sporty side that is just lurking below the surface, and always comes out with a vengeance when I vacation in Maine. Someone who loves the outdoors, as much as he loves the city. Someone who exercises for fun, or because it makes him feel better/healthy, and the fact that he looks good shirtless is an afterthought. An avid reader. A music aficionado. A film buff, perhaps. Theatre lover, hopefully (for his sake). In short, someone who is intellectually stimulating to me. I just want to be able to have articulate and witty banter with him, then go play some soccer until he tackles me and we make out. is that so much to ask? oh yeah, it would be great if he liked rollercoasters and Star Wars too.
