I am a happy, nurturing, loving, passionate, honest, and loyal person. I am laid back and can definitely laugh at myself- especially when I do something stupid. I am pretty much the friend who is up for anything but not usually the one who will come up with the crazy or spontaneous plan. I enjoy exercising - mostly in the form of yoga and soul cycle - and love reading, scrabble, movies, and cooking. I prefer independent films to big blockbusters but I will go see the newest Bond or Sci Fi film with you...I have been fortunate to have had a successful career and I love working but I definitely value time with family/friends over all else. I'm happy staying in or going out to a new trendy restaurant but clubs aren't really my thing - they are fun every now and then, and I always love to dance, but I would take a fun bar over a club any day.
I live in the village and work in retail construction (which means my company builds stores). I, like most people, love to travel and usually do a ski trip out west in the winter and head over to Europe if I can (last year I went to San Sebastian and the Basque region - the year before I went to Paris, Lisbon and Dublin. This year I am heading to London). I am also close with my family (my parents are still happily married, I have 2 married brothers and they each have two little kids) and this means I travel a decent amount to see them as they are spread out in Texas, Florida and Mass.
I am looking for someone who wants to be in a relationship and who is intellectually curious, confident, easy-going, honest, and good-natured with a bit of an edge, who will challenge me in ways I don't always challenge myself. While it is important to me to share some common interests with a partner, it is equally important that there is chemistry, passion and trust.
