I am simple, quiet, and thoughtful. I am introspective, and look in the mirror before I look at anyone else. I am respectful, understanding, and generous. I like to listen more than I like to talk. I promise to never interrupt you with my stuff. I will share my stuff when it is my turn. I am still a little shy and na?ve and look at the world through those glasses. I can, however, be very spontaneous and animated. Just a big kid. Playful, and there is plenty of fun here! Part ham, part professional, part daddy, and part lots of other things. Lots of hats, changing them all of the time. Always mentoring and teaching. A good example. Always of Service. Walking-the-walk, so to speak. I enjoy hearing lots of points of view. Understanding that all are as valid as the other, and that your’s is a least as important as mine.
I am looking for woman who is still a little innocent. Someone who has weathered the storms and kept her wits about her. Someone who is still soft in her heart and generous in her soul. Someone who is able to give freely of herself, and receive back all that she has given.
And I promise to return more.
And, although I don’t require much maintenance, I do require some.
I believe that athleticism is more than something that keeps us fit. It is a philosophy of life. Something that teaches resilience, discipline, and team work. The essential tools…. Plus…being an athlete is kind of fun! I mean once an athlete always an (older) athlete. Right?
I think that a relationship should be nurturing and supportive. It should be a place where we both can be nourished in each other’s goodness. It should be a source of energy and strength. To be built up stronger and take that out with us every day.
So I am looking for a partner with this goodness in her fabric, and she will understand this as it speaks to the essence of who she is.
