My career has taken me to Chicago, San Francisco, NYC and now LA. I knew I would like the weather. But I confess, before I moved to LA, I thought Southern California was one giant suburb, whose greatest contributions to American culture were traffic jams and strip malls. While I occassionally miss the energy of NYC or Chicago, the pros of the SoCal lifestyle trump the night life of NYC. Where else can you enjoy an afternoon at the beach one day and the next day make an easy drive to the mountains and ski in two feet of fresh powder? And now I admit, "I love LA!" I doubt I will ever be much of a Laker fan, but I have adopted the Dodgers. I grew up the oldest of six kids in Michigan. At this point my siblings are spread around the country. But we still manage to see each other a couple times a year, usually around Christmas, the 4th of July or a college football game in September. . On the weekends I like to hang out at the beach, play golf or head to Mammoth in the winter. I'm equally happy to grab dinner and a movie or cook at home and watch a video. And whether it's the Philharmonic or Tom Petty, a picnic at the Hollywood Bowl is always fantastic. I am fortunate to have a good life with great friends and family. But it would be even better if I had a special woman to share it with. I'm hoping to find a genuine partner. Someone I'm excited to see at the end of the day. I am looking for a fun woman who is intelligent, kind, confident and shares my values. Ideally, she has a wide range of interests and doesn't take herself too seriously.
