I am the Head Cellar/Brewer at a large Chicago Brewery, and am proud to see a number of my creations on store and restaurant shelves. I perform beer dinners with chefs in Chicago, New York, and Boston. My friends envy me for having a career that I love. It keeps me smiling every day. I enjoy a small amount of sarcasm and am looking for someone who can laugh at themselves and be willing to try new things. My dog and I are best buds. I have a plaque above my bed that states "My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog thinks I am". I think that is the best quote ever. Music is my second obscession in life. I love everything (except country music. Sheesh, it's like figernails on a chalk board.... No offense) So here are a few of my favorites right now: Phantogram, The Blow, Vampire Weekend (dont judge! If you see them live you'd know what I mean), Micachu and the Shapes, Black Lips, The Cults, blah, blah, blah.
All I ask is that you have a good sense of humor, and enjoy life. I tend to talk about anything and everything. My friends and family know everything about me, as I think embarrasing stories are usually funny stories. As far as my career is concerned, I have officially made it. It was a tough 8 years to get where I am today. I did it the old fashioned way, by working my tail off (night-shifts, moving from city to city, 80 hr work weeks), and slowly moving up the ladder. Now I am in charge of 10 brewers, who are all my friends. We are as close to a family as it gets. Life is good.
One more thing.... I am not a weight lifting, fake tanning, winner that I see in most northside bars. In fact, I am the guy ripping on those guys in the same bar.
Ok, that's enough about me for now.
