I don't sit still long... my friends would all say that about me. I'd sum up myself as generous, fun, creative, loving, passionate...
I love to keep busy, either working on the property or doing art of some sort. Refinishing furniture and building adirondack chairs are things I enjoy doing. Grass doesn't grow under my feet! Well... I do like to relax and watch a sunset or two at the lake, movie or just hang out. I could watch paint dry with the right person.... Love to laugh and there's not much I don't like to do.
My husband died unexpectedly 9 years ago and have been holding down 'the fort' ever since. I do it all.... mow, mulch, take trash, etc. and actually pretty good at it! :) I'm a graphic artist and work from home most days. Two days a week I work at my friend's farmer's market and love it! I love the interaction with the customers and the relationships that develop over time.
I'm blessed with two beautiful daughters, one that's a freshman at Depauw University and the other a H.S. senior who's applying to colleges... oh where did the time go! I also have a 5th grade son who is loads of fun. Basketball season is here and I love watching him play.
I enjoy living on the lake in the summer and taking evening boat rides, wake boarding etc.. Four wheeling at the cabin in Brown County and Purdue football games in the fall. Snowboarding, skiing and P.U. basketball in the winter is a must. I'm in a bicycling group that rides on Wednesday evening and then we have social time...FUN, FUN, FUN.
I love cold beer and spending time with my family and friends. I have lots to be thankful for and count my blessings every day!
