I am active and adventurous. My ideal partner would share this same zest for life. I do not watch much television but I do enjoy watching or going to see a movie. I love travel and take every opportunity I can to see more of the world. I enjoy Scuba diving any chance I can. I am a triathlete and participate in Ironman distance events about every 2 months. I travel for some of these. My partner does not need to want to participate in this but a triathlete or at least someone who would enjoy running with me occasionally would be a plus. I love to cook and enjoy great wine in small amounts (I like more when training allows for it). I am looking for someone who can engage in an intellectual conversation and the occasional debate. If your profile pictures are all of you in clubs, you are not the person for me. I have lived that portion of my life (and then some). I am happy to be where I am in life and though I still enjoy a night out dancing in a club...it does not fill my week anymore.
I can take country music in small doses.
I see so many complaints in profiles regarding people being serious...I am. I am not in a rush but I am very busy and I am also not looking to waste time. I am looking forward to sharing time with someone but want that time to be worthwhile. I am not looking to date for the sake of not being alone.
Hopefully my high standards can be met by someone with the same expectation of me.
