I know I'm stating the obvious here because anybody reading this will have had to do the same, but it's so hard to write about yourself. I think it's much easier for somebody else to describe you.
I like to think I'm a pretty well-rounded person. I occasionally race one of my motorcycles, though my life doesn't revolve around it. There are 6 race weekends a year, but I never make it to all of them. I also have my pilot license, so I enjoy going out flying when I get a chance. I have a bit of a nerdy side as well I'd say in that I enjoy playing video games every now and then and can sometimes have a bit of a dorky sense of humor. I dabble in photography, though the last year or so I haven't really done a whole lot with it. I like to think I'm a pretty funny person. I like to joke around a lot and have fun, but I can be serious when the situation calls for it.
I think I have a pretty good job. I work in the aviation industry. It's a big part of my life, as it takes me away from home often. All of my friends are people whom I work with, but at the same time I don't bring my work home with me. I rarely have bad days at work and when I do, it's more or less forgotten as soon as I leave.
Speaking of my friends, I'm not the type of person who maintains a large circle of friends, though I like to think most people like me and I get along with most people. I prefer to keep a small group of close friends and am a bit picky about the company I keep. That said, my friends are the most amazing friends I could ever ask for. I literally couldn't imagine a better group of people to surround myself with. There's never any drama in our circle and I trust any one of them to give me their honest opinion whether it will be an opinion I like or not.
I've recently become a homeowner, so that's still pretty new and exciting for me. It's my first experience with homeownership and I was fortunate enough to be able to afford something that's pretty nice and in a nice town.
I'm looking for somebody who's gotten the nightclub scene out of their system I suppose. I'm not much of a socialite and prefer to keep things low key. I hope to meet somebody who is understanding of my career and how much it takes me away from home. Somebody who's mostly drama free is definitely desired as well. Sometimes life hands you difficult situations and you can't run away from them, but if you find you're always having some kind of drama in your life, then you're probably not the girl for me. I'd like to meet somebody with a good sense of humor too, particularly if you can appreciate my often dry, sarcastic humor and occasional corny jokes. :)
