I was born and raised in the Midwest and still am a small-town girl at heart. I've lived in the Bay Area for more than 10 years and have loved every second. I like having a variety of activities to choose from and enjoy experiencing new things. Sure, I can sit still and relax, but I like to be out and about. Being spontaneous like going on unplanned road trips or hiking through the Marin Headlands helps break up the monotony of the M-F grind, too.
I'm not a serious person, but I do have my quiet periods. I definitely have a silly side and know it's important to be able to laugh at myself. I think I have a great sense of humor although I can be sarcastic and dry. You should have a similar sense of humor or at least appreciate sarcasm! I'm all about things in moderation, which means that I enjoy going out to eat, but like to work out to balance things out. I like to stay active, but can just as easily sit on the couch and watch bad reality TV.
I tend to work long hours for my job, but I genuinely enjoy what I do; hopefully you do, too. But I work hard AND play hard because I'm a strong believer in all work and no play making anyone a dull boy (or girl). I'm also working on my MBA right now, which means I don't have as much social time as I'd like. I have a big family whom I love dearly and a good group of friends, and I'm looking to meet someone who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it.
