Moved to LA last year after a few amazing years in the DC Metro area and a one year stint in SLC. Originally from Wisconsin.Happy to be back in a major metro area. So much to do in LA. And I love the weather. Most of my friends would probably say I am witty and fun, but I really love a great conversation and finding insights that I've never considered before. I'm not a musician, but music moves and inspires me. I enjoy people who are versatile and have more than unilateral interests. Sometimes I’m shy for reasons I cannot explain, but for the most part am gregarious and interested in connecting with people.
Looking for friends and dates alike to enjoy all kinds of adventures and develop meaningful relationships. I like authentically honest people. I really enjoy people who let me be silly a little bit and enjoy the moment. Having said all that I am looking for the girl next door who grew into a smart, conscientious and ambitious woman. Someone who takes their life seriously but not themselves. Who communicates straight, but has plenty of sass for smart & fun banter, and is focused on others more than themselves. If you believe your job title defines your worth, it’s time to reassess.
My interests are extremely eclectic. I have long term and short term goals, and love learning new things. I enjoy community & sporting events, being around people and discovering quirky places. I’m a bit of a foodie & amateur anthropologist so watch out I’ll be pulling out my camera/phone if I think something looks good. I read self help & business books, & fiction. All kinds of music are appreciated, and I am fascinated with the talent in the arts.
I’ve been online “searching” just long enough to recognize that trying to reveal too much on a profile is not helpful. I’d prefer a few emails and then to set up a “quick lunch.” It’s amazing how much you can understand when you meet someone. Also it’s so much more fulfilling even if it doesn’t “work out.”
