I decided to give this a try after growing a little tired of the bar scene. Plus I tend to work long hours, which makes it tough to meet new people. I think my friends would describe me as funny, hard working but laid back, ambitious, sarcastic and thoughtful. I grew up in Missouri, went to college here in Chicago, left for law school in Nashville, and then came back. I am a corporate attorney at a firm downtown. I'm not sure I'd say that I love practicing law, but the work is challenging and pretty interesting most of the time. In my free time I like to work out 4 or 5 times a week, run along the lake (when it warms up at least), try new restaurants and bars with friends, golf and go to Cubs, Blackhawks and Bulls games. I also like to travel whenever I get the chance, and I really want to go to Asia at some point in the near future.
I am hoping to meet someone who is ambitious, independent, active, funny and outgoing, likes to travel, and enjoys checking out new places in the city. My career is important to me and hoping to meet someone who feels the same way about theirs, regardless of what it may be. I do like going out on weekends, but hoping to meet someone who also enjoys spending a Friday or Saturday night at home with a bottle of wine after a long week.
