Even though this is not the most traditional route to meeting someone, it’s better than meeting a guy in a bar, who happens to idolize Pauly D and uses more hair product than me! ! Plus, I know someone, who knows someone, who know this guy who met this girl, whose friend knows someone, who knows someone, whose sister’s best friend knows someone that this worked for;-)

Oh boy…here we go…I’m a person who loves to have good company around them. I have a great group of friends, who I hold close to my heart and treasure. They know me better than I know myself sometimes. I sometimes think that I might not have made it through college or most of my 20’s unscathed without them ;-) My family also means the absolute world to me! They have shaped me into the person I am. I certainly want to find someone who values family like I do. I guess if I asked my friends and family to describe me they would say that I am loyal, kind, patient, funny, sarcastic and my mom would definitely say that I’m special!
I believe in listening before reacting. I love to hang out with my friends to just chat/catch up, go to a hole in the wall for a couple of drinks, attempt the art of salsa dancing or just find and try new places around the city. I like to do fun things that scare me. I enjoy trying new restaurants, but then again I still like the good ole chain restaurants (my family has such a love for Outback and Applebees…;-). I like to go out with friends for a night on the town, but then I also like staying in and having game nights. Sometimes I really relish a quiet night with a good book. I can be shy, I can be loud, I can be mellow, I can be outgoing, I can be creative; it will just depend on my surroundings and how good the company is.
I'm not into the whole meeting a guy at a bar; I've never really been into that (I semi have a queasiness for a man who walks up to me with an Affliction tee on…sorry, if you own one;-)). I'm looking for a great guy who gets me. Someone I can have fun with. Someone who has a great sense of humor. I love when someone is able to make me laugh so hard that I begin to snort (I know uber attractive, but it happens and I just start laughing even harder). I want to meet someone who I can talk to about anything and be comfortable doing so! Someone who is not only my partner in life, but is also my best friend. I love being in a relationship with someone who will challenge me to do new things. I also love to return that same sentiment. I want someone who is active, but is also able to slow down and smell the roses. I don't take myself too seriously, so I would hope I would be attracted to someone who didn't either. Compromise is also important to me when in a relationship - I’ll go to your basketball games, even though I hate the squeaking sound of basketball shoes on the gym floor. I’ll go to your softball games, even though I’ll look like a lobster after the first couple of innings. But, you have to come to my family dinners, the ballet and running with me from time to time. It’s only fair, sunburn really hurts ;-)
