I have to be honest, I come here a little skeptical with a few doubts about online dating.....................lol.
I was raised by a divorced single mom and have 2 younger sisters so I do know how to be a gentleman and how women should be treated. I just became a empty nester with my son being a freshman in college. I had custody of him during H.S.
I love kids and being a father is something I don't take for granted for one single day!!! When my kids call me Dad it means just as much now as when they were toddlers! In all of my relationships I've ever had I always connected with the children of the woman I was involved with. Whether they were young or older.
It also says something about me that even after a tough divorce 4 yrs ago I still have a great relationship with my ex mother and father in-law . Still call them mom and dad with respect and affection when I run into them.
Im a big sports fan but not a fanatic. My White Sox winning the World Series and being able to be there in person will always be one of my priceless moments Ive experienced. Something that will also hold a special place in my heart was when I was lucky enough to take 2 cute young girls who were devout Cubs fans to their first game and it was a Cross Town Classic Sox vs Cubs game and I lost a bet to them that I think I still owe them!
Have always lived in the Chicagoland area . Just moved to the Naperville area and really like it. I'm a very passionate and giving person. When in a relationship I always put my partner's satisfaction and feelings first. I'm very good and enjoy giving massages and at times dont mind receiving one in return........lol. I love drinking wine especially reds.
So bonus points if you love to drink wine and love to kiss...........especially if that kiss brings butterflies!!! I will tell you this I can't and wont settle just to settle. Never ever settle for a forever with someone if even after a long length of time goes by and they still dont give you those butterflies when they kiss and hold you!! So true........ I enjoy sometimes being indoors watching a movie , drinking a bottle of wine while cooking dinner with or for a woman.
I believe in God and a higher being, but I do not go to church every week, but 2 sundays a month isnt bad ether. Lets compare each other's bucket list maybe we have a few that are similar?? I try to learn from my past mistakes and yes I'm human and regret all of them, especially to Bella. l forgot a very important thing. I would really like to find that person to trust , to be totally vulnerable with . I wear my heart on my sleeve, sometimes to a fault..... I've always been a giver in a relationship and have a hard time taking, I guess I have to try harder to be on the receiving end??
