First and foremost, my ideal match will love Jesus! He will also be tall (6'0 and taller), active/athletic, funny/fun-loving, kind, caring, understanding, ambitious, romantic, and share lots of the interests below, especially a passion for travel and trying new things! These are all traits that I'll bring to the table, and would love for my Match to, well, match them! :)
People close to me would describe me as an adventurous, driven person with a big heart. I understand that the harder I work, the harder I can play! I'm fortunate to have a career in the field I studied in college (Marketing) and a job I actually enjoy! I always strive for excellence. Accepting mediocrity is a huge turn-off, along with lack of ambition. I'm a hard worker, not a workaholic. I am very family-oriented. And one day, after I meet and marry my McDreamy, I want to start a family of my own.
I regularly volunteer with a local pediatric cancer organization and weekly at my church. I love art and though I can't draw I do dabble in graphic design.
I like to stay active. I cycle, play volleyball and praise dance weekly, and play on a recreational co-ed softball team. I'm (brand spanking) new to golf, but I have a set of clubs just dying to get some use. Anyone want to tee off?!
I LOVE traveling! And i have a lengthy list of destinations I want to visit. Costa Rica is already on the calendar for this year (July!) SUPER excited about that! Locally, I enjoy going to see plays/performances at the theatre. I enjoy going to live sporting events and (during football season) sports bars. I like going out to wine bars and to hear live music. I like rollercasters, amusement/water parks, etc. I went white water rafting for the first time last year and loved it! Can't wait to try skiing/snowboarding!
Like I said, I love being active, but it's good to balance that with regular spa days (kidding, well, sort of ;-). I love to relax and enjoy some leisure time: indoors, at home with glass of wine and some jazz or occassionally curl up on the sofa with a RedBox movie with a fire going: or in nature, relaxing at the beach listening to the waves or a stroll around the neighborhood or picnic in the park (cliche, i know) and although I don't do bugs, I want to try camping. I LOVE trying new things!
Basically, I love to laugh. I love to be active. I love to love and be loved. I'm tall. I can be sarcastic and witty when I want to be. I'm from the South so I love good food! I know how to cook a variety of dishes, but my go-to dishes seem to be pasta and seafood based. On any given day, I more likely to quote commercials than lines from any movies (hey, I'm in marketing!). My iPad has recently reignited leisure reading for me. I grew up watching Cosby Show and Fresh Prince and pretty much think that's the way families should be in real life too :) I am NOT perfect. But I will be perfect for someone (and he will be perfect for me. Maybe, just maybe, match.com will be the way we meet.
