I like creativity and challenge. I like to set my goals and push myself to achieve them, whether it's writing a paper or running faster. I teach at UM, and my research focuses on revolutions and protests, censorship and repression, and law and human rights. Naturally, I care about people, and I like nice people who care about others. I like to think outside the box, and dont like cliches and stereotypes. I believe that empathy is an important part of human nature, and all humans are entitled to fundamental rights. I don't believe in patriotism or nationalism, I believe in humanism. But I do believe that many people who were involved in founding this country were humanist, and hence my love for American history. I'm confident, so I don't easily get scared or nervous. I'm nice, spontaneous, sometimes intense, but easy-going, and sometimes even funny, wow you'd think? lol I'm witty and I know it...no, its not from LMFAO song! lol And, I like sarcasm. Im straightforward, I dont play games, and I like honesty. If you're curious about my profile pic, it's just a random shot in Bardot, I like that place when not too crowded. I'm looking for someone who makes me better and inspires me, but also comforts me and is playful and fun. Someone who dares to share her aspirations, fears, and emotions. I need to feel that we together are better than each of us alone, that we contribute to each other's life positively. Maybe you teach me something new about art or anatomy or law or math or new training methods for marathon or new fashion trends, or maybe you challenge me to run or swim as long as you do or to perform some crazy yoga move...as far as there is something that make me feel that we are better together than each of us alone, I'll be happy. Of course, we need to feel a chemistry too. So if you think you can be that person, you're one wink away. Who knows? Coming across this might turn out to be the best thing that has happened to you, and you...you might turn out to be the best thing that has happened to me. Remember Braveheart (1995)? Aye, wink and we might click. Dont, and nothing happens. And sitting lonely on your couch, many months from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here, and take your chance to tell me: Hey, I may be your kind of girl. :-)
