About me?
Where do I begin...I guess I'll just lay out the facts and see what happens...
I was born in a small town in Northern Illinois near Chicago. I was always fascinated with the music and entertainment field. I played in bands as a teenager and young adult. Since then I've made my living as a live sound engineer and production manager. I've worked for a variety of musical artists large and small in the US and abroad. I've also been involved in numerous corporate events. I sometimes travel for work and would like to be in a relationship with someone who can accept that. If she would be available to join me occasionally, it's all the better.
On the personal side, I enjoy the company of family and friends, which I have many of. I like to be active and stimulated but can also enjoy quiet time alone or in the company of someone that stirs my soul. I like to cook and have an extensive collection of Pampered Chef gadgets and cookware. Recently, I've reduced the amount of meat and dairy that I eat and have felt healthier in doing so. I've made a couple of goes at vegetarianism and veganism but it didn't stick...but I would be willing to give another try.
Being the son of a carpenter, I'm also pretty handy around the house. I can build things and fix things. I'm also good with cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc...but prefer to be with someone who can share some of those responsibilities.
For fun (and exercise) I like golf, tennis, running, biking & hiking. I'm not much of a sports follower, but do enjoy going to an occasional ballgame or watching football on TV.
As much as I love and miss Chicagoland...the winter weather I can do without...which is why I relocated to California in the late 90's.
Who I'm looking for?
I am seeking an independent woman that is well traveled, attractive, confident, and who has a healthy, positive outlook on life. She should enjoy a variety of good food, good music and good company. She should also appreciate a man with a strong libido.
