In a nutshell, I know the difference between a Phillips and a flat head screwdriver, I can cook, I'm a decent shot, and I watch sports. I love elephants, guys in bow ties, sun dresses, beach music, and I hate thunderstorms. But on the opposite side of the same coin I love a good beer and a football game, sweatpants and a movie on the couch, and I'm not above getting dirty. Basically, I'm not your typical girl.
I'm bubbly and outgoing, but when I first meet someone, I have a tendency of sometimes being shy. Once I've reached some level of comfortability, I definitely open up. I was born and raised right here in North Carolina, so needless to say Southern values and the Southern way of life run deep with me. I love sports...preferably college football. Nothing beats that atmosphere! I love being on the water...preferably the lake. And I love sitting outside on the porch on a perfect summer or fall night. Laughing is one of my favorite past times and I can only hope that my life is continuously blessed with laughter. I love doing things to make other people happy or to simply put a smile on their face: anything from leaving a note on a car to a random gift. My family and friends mean the world to me and I don't know who or where I would be without them. Because of that, I like to do little things as a way of saying thank you.
When it comes to what I look for in a guy, I'm looking for someone who is funny, honest, confident, thoughtful, college educated, career and goal oriented, and lastly a friend. I've learned a great deal from my past relationships, but the biggest thing I've learned from them is the importance of friendship. I'm looking for someone with whom I can simply be me. Someone who will take care of me and let me take care of him. I want a relationship where we can have continuous conversations about anything, but can be perfectly content with not saying anything and just being with each other. I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready and wanting to have someone to experience and enjoy all that life has to offer.
