I just turned 41 on April 28th and the day before I was asked "how does it feel for it to be the last day you are 40?" The only way I could answer was that it felt like the last day I was 26 or 38 or 19... just like another day because age, to me, is a state of mind. The next day I threw a BBQ which I love to do and not for my birthday, but because I enjoy having friends over, great conversation and great food. A buddy who had not been to one of my BBQ's before told me afterwards that "after meeting a lot of cool people there, it was amazing to see how many people in your (my) life you have touched in so many ways... and it was bitchen". Ok, he is NOT a surfer, but just hearing brought me such contentment that I understand what it's like to be a good person and supportive of the people around me. This is the awkward part of this whole online thing, not trying to sound arrogant or egotistical but I do want to take a moment since I have to sell myself to you, the viewer and give that recent example of my character. I've been told I am humble, funny and one of the best friends you can have and that's what I'm looking for in a partner.
I grew up in NYC in an amazing family, am creative and am thankful I get to do what I love for a living, couldn't live without laughter every day.... ok maybe sometimes when my sides hurt until I can't breath... but other then that, I think we are all here for the same reason...meet that person that makes you smile when you think of them, that same person that makes me do things throughout the day with their interests and heart in mind, find that best friend to laugh with and build an amazing, warm, loving life with.
I'm always up for an adventure whether it's hopping in the car on a Saturday morning and picking a direction without a destination or trying a new hole in the wall restaurant. I work in a creative field and am passionate about what I do, an outside of the box thinker who owns tools and can fix stuff, owns pots and pans is knows his way around a kitchen, can't live without laughter every day, will keep you on your toes, believes in balance, just realized he was talking in 3rd person and doesn't like that but will continue just for this description :) and believes in communication, trust, honesty, integrity, balance, mutual respect and that chivalry is not dead.
