I'm most passionate about enjoying life, whatever it may throw at me. I'm learning every day to better accept the bad with the good. It does make things easier for me that I truly do enjoy the simple things, like a cool breeze on a warm day or the way putting on jeans fresh from the dryer feels.
I just started work as the after school program director and activities manager for a local martial arts studio. My long-term goal is to teach history so that I can share my love for it with other generations. And yes, I do realize I'm a bit of a geek, but I don't care. ;)
When I say I don't like games in a relationship, I really mean it. I like to know where I stand, and I like for people to know where they stand with me as well. Honesty, honesty, honesty! :) I like going out and having fun away from the house, but I also like staying in some nights and watching movies, etc. I'm a pretty laid-back person in general, like pretty much everyone else on Match, it seems. Haha. Most people that know me would say that I can sometimes be "too nice." It does get me in trouble sometimes!
I am very close to my family and we spend a lot of time together. I'm also "mommy" to two fur balls, my cat and my dog. I don't know what I'd do without them, so we're a package deal. :)
I'm looking for someone that's honest and caring. Someone that doesn't play games, but is looking for something real in a relationship. Friendly, fun-loving, and with a good sense of humor. I joke around a lot, and would like to meet someone that I can joke WITH!
I prefer someone who has a spiritual side. We don't have to have the exact same beliefs, but a belief in SOMETHING would be nice. I've dated non-spiritual men in the past, and it was a bit of an issue between us, what with them thinking I was silly for having a spiritual side and all.
If you're only here looking for a fling, please don't waste my time or yours. I'm looking for a relationship, not just someone to play with. That's what bars are for. Haha. :)
