I am a manager for a financial planning firm with aspirations to grow in the busines. I also voluntarily serve on a board of directors and am next in line for presidency of a local organization that mentors and develops women in the industry. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, however have never been able to use it. I do miss working with children though and hope that one day I might be able to sit in the classroom again.
I am someone who wears their heart on their sleeves. Good and bad quality about myself. But I am a really good person with a big heart. Who cherishes family, and close friends.
Life has thrown me many curve balls - ones that I haven't always been able to dodge. And eventhough they have hurt me, they have also taught me. I have not been in the dating scene for quite a few years now (It's like remembering how to riding a bike... Right?? LOL)
These past few years I have been so devoted to my son, just learning how to be a single mother. And as much as my son is a large priority and importance in my life, I realize that it's equally important to devote time for myself. With that said, I really am looking forward to meeting someone who can remind me of how much fun it is to have the companionship that I am missing out on. Someone who is accepting of the family I already have, and possibly willing to grow it one day. But for Starters- someone who can remind me what simple little butterfiles feel like again.
