Where to begin...like probably most of you, I'm new to internet dating but thought I'd give it a try. There's nothing to lose, right? I'm a First Lieutenant in the Army and have been in for ten years. It's been a wild and rewarding ride but I've had so many great life experiences and have learned lessons I would never replace. The last couple of years have been pretty time consuming and I'm at a point in my life now where I'm ready to slow down a little and enjoy it with the right person. I'm a pretty positive and fun loving person who enjoys people who can see the optimistic side of life. There are moments in life that aren't so pleasant or easy but I think those experiences also help shape us and enable us to appreciate the good things in life that much more. I love to laugh and in my family, there always seems to be a joke or prank going around. That being said, I appreciate someone with a sense of humor and someone who can roll with the punches. I enjoy physical activity and being outdoors...running, cycling, swimming, water/snow skiing, snow boarding to name a few. I also enjoy getting my cultural fix once in a while, whether it's an art museum, live concert, or theatre. I consider myself a pretty low maintenance woman and can definitely take care of myself. However, I do appreciate a man who values chivalry and being a gentlemen. I grew up in the south...if you consider central Florida the south (which I do).
