Okay, here goes. I grew up overseas, and moved to the States when I was 14. As a boy, I traveled throughout the Middle East and Europe because I was on a National tennis and baseball team. It was an incredible childhood and a very unique experience. I went to College back In New England, and still have family and friends back in Massachusetts. I visit every year, usually during the summer. I am, by nature, a very happy and easy going guy. I am very grateful for the family and friends that I have, and I am looking forwqard to the next phase of my life. I am divorced with three wonderful children...two girls and one boy. Their ages are 12,15 and 17. They are the light of my life. I love being a Dad and I love the whole idea of family. When my kids are with me, my house is usually packed with kids and it can be mayhem. Throw in a couple of dogs and three ducks who have made the pool in our backyard a favorite retreat, and you've got a pretty lively home.
I like to stay fit and play tennis, ice hockey and basketball with my free time. We head up to Mammoth every Winter and Spring for Snowboarding. If I am vacationing in a place like Maui, my favorite thing to do is Scuba Diving; I have done it all my life and I love it. I love anything to do with the water...wake boarding, water skiing, sailing etc. Last year I took my kids to Tahiti and we're going back again this summer. If someone were looking for a paradise on earth, then Bora Bora would have to be considered. I am a voracious reader. I speak three languages(decent, but not fluent), but I wish I spoke five (working on it). I also like to play Piano and I am currently learning how to surf, so I can keep up with my kids. Though I have traveled all my life, I am ready to go someplace(just about any place)on a seconds notice...can be a cabin in the woods, five star resort or camping with friends. I have my own business with a partner, so it allows me a lot of freedom to get out of town when I get the urge.
My life is fulfilling and very happy, yet if I were to meet that someone special to grow with and grow old with, then it would be that much better. I like women who are confident, and have a mind of their own. I really appreciate a woman who remembers where she is from, and just as importantly, knows where she wants to go. I feel that I am honest, loyal and grounded and those are some of the most important qualities I would look for in a woman.
I feel very fortunate to live in Santa Monica and work in Brentwood, which makes for a mercifully short commute. I am an open book, so feel free ask anything you want...is that right? Yeah, anything you want.
