I grew up in the Bay Area playing soccer and drawing super heroes. At age 5, my dad convinced me that brown cows produced chocolate milk. I went to a nice public school. I took a lot of art and english classes. I usually paid attention in class. Like most ungrateful teenagers, I thought life would be a lot cooler somewhere else. So in my infinite wisdom, I went to college in LA. While I loved school and what I got out of it, one of the biggest things I picked up in LA was a new found appreciation for San Francisco.
I love it here. Great food, always something to do if you're willing to look for it, plenty of culture, and just enough rain and fog to keep the velour sweatsuit mafia down south.
I really enjoy my job. I went to school to be a graphic designer and now I create brands for a living. Every day is different--this is key.
I always have one or two interesting side projects going. Right now I'm working on a line of of mens bags inspired by old Summer Olympics. When work gets busy I usually like to run or play soccer on the weekends. Otherwise I feel lethargic and old.
I'm not a big drinker, but I'm a still an extroverted person most of the time. I generally support the highly sought after balance of 'going out and staying in.'
I'm looking for someone who's confident and really passionate about what they're doing. In past relationships, I've learned that this is apparently very important to me. I'm relatively sure I only get to live once, so I don't really like the idea of spending my life doing something that doesn't make me happy. This doesn't mean I need to visit every remote mountainous village in Micronesia and learn 30 languages. I just need to listen to what makes me happy, create interesting work, and keep learning.
