Allow me to start off with Roll Tide! I'm not really into sports or team affiliations, per se, (I went to UAB, so Go Blazers!) but since my family really is, this may ultimately be a deal breaker for most candidates. If you made it past this first qualification with no issues (or in good humor), please read on at your convenience!
*Disclaimer* If you don't have any photos, can't spell or grammar check, or if you are a country boy, I'm NOT interested!
Fun and fast-paced at work, I like to relax and take it easy when I'm at home. I find myself enjoying the quiet times more and more these days. I'm always up for an adventure or a new experience, however. This year, I've decided to take up indoor rock climbing. So if you'd like to come sweat it out with me, drop me a line! What types of adventures are you willing to try?
I don't have any children, though it's definitely on the 'life plan' for me. The little cuties in my pics are my adorable nieces. I have been a 'substitute mommy' for most of the oldest one's life while my sister was off training with the army, and who was then deployed to Afghanistan until October 2010. The little one is my sister's newest family addition. I have three nieces: 8, 19 months and 7 months (as of Oct '12).
I'm a very easy person to get along with. It takes a lot to get under my skin. I tend to have a type A personality when it comes to work (as I'm the boss, and I have to set the example), and I really try not to let that authority overrun my personal life. To be honest, though, I can be bossy at times. But, I usually realize it as I'm doing it, and I'll scale back as it's not appropriate in everyday personal life!
I'm pretty witty with playful comebacks, and my sense of humor tends to lean towards 'borderline sacrastic', though never mean or patronizing. Usually, I can read people pretty clearly and accurately, so I tend to know when enough is enough :-) I will only dish it out if I can take it myself - it's only fair. I would like to add that sarcasm should never include lewdness. If we communicate, I would prefer for it to be as clean as possible. I am not looking to provide material you would normally find on a '900 number'. If that is what you're looking for, you've come to the wrong page.
As much as I love to laugh and play, my serious side can be emphasized as needed. For the things that are important in my life (church, family and work), I will fight and defend always. I'm a very loyal person to the end, and I will always have your back no matter how difficult the problem may be.
I am looking for someone who will take the time to talk about everything in their lives. I am a big 'communication' person (because it's what I do for a living anyways). Also, I am a huge fan of frequent communication - if something's wrong, tell me about it! I don't like to be left in the dark. If you're shy or introverted, we probably won't get along too well, as I'm afraid I may overpower the conversation!
My guy must be family-oriented and have specific and obtainable goals in life. He must want children, and have a strong faith in Christ. He must also be faithful and committed to a real and lasting relationship. Oh, and he needs to be able to find humor in life - don't be too serious all the time :-) I am DEFINITELY NOT looking to match with someone 40 and over. I feel it's necessary to have a closer age span to be able to fully relate and understand one another. Sorry if you're 'Prince Charming' and 47 . . . it's a bit creepy when you're old enough to be my dad. I need to be able to introduce you to mom - not let you be in her dating bracket!
I prefer to avoid drama and the crazies. If you're crazy, please move to the next page.
If you made it all the way to the end of my profile, congratulations! I'm very impressed that 1) you can READ, 2) you found me slightly amusing or interesting, and 3) there's a possibility that you'll send me an equally amusing or in
