Hey there! A little about me. I moved back from New York City where I was working in finance three years ago and since then I’ve been focused on starting and building my business. In a nutshell I specialize in making homes and buildings more energy efficient. I like having a “green business” because everyone wins with what we do and there’s a tremendous amount of growth.
In terms of what I like, I'm up for any type of adventure. Whitewater rafting, caving, occasional jumps from planes (very occasional, lol), South Side on a Sat night..haha. But I also love trying new restaurants and bars...even when they, for lack of a better word---suck, you still get a good story : ) A few weeks ago I found an amazing Thai place in Lawrenceville…and I’m sorry, but there is nothing like Thai food when it’s done right. Beyond loving off-the-beaten track restaurants and laid back, divey bars, I’m always up for snowboarding, taking a hike in the Alleghenies, checking out a cool new exhibit at a local gallery, but especially the beach when I can get to one. I was lucky to be able to check out Kaui this past December and the beaches there were unbelievably gorgeous.
Into travelling at all? For me, there’s nothing like the rush of getting off that plane and stepping directly into a completely foreign culture. The exotic smells, chaos of new sounds, colorful languages, and bizarre looking clothes (sometimes)...I love it! I recently spent a week in northern Colombia and the country was amazing! It wasn't scary at all like people say and the people were great. My next goal/ travel destination is to get back to Asia again...hopefully sooner rather than later.
I'm pretty big into working out and keeping healthy. And I’m also a huge music fan, drag me to see any random band on a Friday night and I'll be happy. Some bands I like are Vampire Weekend, Smashing Pumpkins, the Beatles, Warrant--NOT!, Zero 7, any reggae, a bit of electronica and hip hop, and the Stones.
A few things that are super important to me are my family, friends, expanding my company, and finding ways to give back. I’d like to find a girl who is warm, good natured, intelligent, and easy going. I think relationships are built on trust, respect, and continual doses of laughter. If you’re “cold girl”, I’m probably not the guy for you. I also need to be with someone who is keen on staying healthy. You don’t have to be a freak, but you do have to care. So with that, let the adventure begin…
