I'm 55, healthy, and make a concerted effort to stay in shape. I grew up and spent most of my life in the beach areas of california, latter time in the Ca/Az deserts; very different from each other but both are beautiful and cathartic.
I'm not a party animal anymore but I enjoy getting out and doing things-- dressing up or dressin' down, dinner and/or a movie in or out, local theater and events (not much in this town),hiking and picnics, red wines and crafted beers, chewy coffee, Sunday morning news shows (especially Sunday Morning and Meet the Press), and things that make me laugh-- these are a few of my fa-vor-ite things, when the dogs bi... (ok, a lil' corny:)
I'm a hands-on person, I enjoy building things, and always have projects going on. Just finished some local college classes at for photovoltaics, solar heating and solar hot water. I'm currently working on a -deliverable- net/0 home line; I believe there's a developing market that's ready to be tapped and promoted.
I'm not religious, but I believe in good, in what ever form it comes. I appreciate integrity, it's so rare anymore, and try to be the best person that I can be (knowing that I'll too fall short sometimes). I'm not absolutely sure about all things, I tend to weigh and reason the sides of an issue-- I'm told that I'm more of a Libra than Scorpio?
What am I looking for in a partner?
Someone I can share an audible glance with across a room. A woman who will tell me if I have something on my nose (I'm going to tell her). And guess what-- news flash-- I'm not perfect, and I'm hoping to find that same characteristic in my partner. I'm looking for a person to mutually grow and grow old with.
I enjoy all kinds of music. I like motorcycles-- just a day trip kind of guy-- I've been riding since I was 9. I've also spent 12 years RVing around the country, following the weather and working along the way. I've lingered the last 2 years here in Silver City NM, working and working on personal projects.
