'm Amy. I'm 25, a registered nurse, and graduated from Penn State in 2010. I am originally from Upstate New York. I am an east coast girl for sure, but I do have some lovely friends/roommates out here.
I want to go back to school for my master's eventually to become a nurse practitioner. Silly as it sounds, it's partly because I want to be able to be able to take care of my future children, but mostly because I love what I do. Choosing to get my bachelor's in nursing was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I lived in New York City from 2010-2011, moved to Utah from Sept 2011-June 2012, had myself a cute little summer vacation with the family in Upstate NY (my hometown) for 2 1/2 months...And then decided it was a good idea to move back to Utah. I was indecisive. But here I am, back for now. If you read that and your head is spinning, I can explain (but only after a couple of dates).
As of three months ago, I scored my dream job, so I'll be here for a while I'm sure.
Fun tidbits:
I started my own book club and it's a huge success. I refuse to read '50 Shades of Grey'...Yuck.
I love Italian food more than anything and am not a fan of sushi. For the most part, I'm not picky.
I love my family more than anything. Miss them way too much.
I'm left handed and it's usually the first thing I notice about people (really weird, I know).
I'm the oldest of three, and I love being the oldest.
I guess I should also tell you who I'm looking for:
Someone who knows what they want and has realistic goals set in front of them. Someone who is family-oriented and wants one of their own. Definitely has to have a sense of humor (sarcasm a major plus) and can appreciate mine, too. I love having intelligent conversation so that's a must have as well. Oh, and isn't afraid to be adventurous! Good grammar is such a bonus.
P.S. I have a cute best friend who wouldn't mind going on double dates if that makes you feel less intimidated :) I have a picture of her in my album here. We love weekend brunches.
