I've lived in the area for about a year and a half now...There are still a lot of places downtown that I'd like to explore! I love walking/jogging on the canal, and I'd like to explore some of the museums as well!
I'm shy at first but will open up fairly quickly. There are some people that I am never shy around, don't ask why, it's just the way it goes. Give me a short amount of time to open up and it will happen.
I prefer 100% honesty. I'm a firm believer that no matter how much it hurts, the truth is always better than lies. And tell me as it happens, don't let it all build up then cause a problem to appear much larger than it is. It's one of my biggest pet peeves.
I like to be random, don't worry, it's a good thing. I can be sarcastic as well, but not to the point of being rude. I also like spontaneity. It's great fun to just jump in the car and drive for a few hours, not knowing where you'll end up.
I love to help people. You could call it my passion, that's why I am a nurse. I'd love to work with kids but won't limit myself to just that because I have chosen a career that offers flexibility to find the area that fits me best.
I have big dreams, hope to one day achieve the majority of them. I believe that even if your goal seems unattainable, you should still work for it because I think you should always have something to strive for.
I love to travel, have covered a lot of Europe and hope to continue adding to the list. I actually haven't explored all that much in the US and would like to do that next. I want to learn to snowboard. One of these years, it will happen!
Skydiving and white water rafting are also on the to do list for sooner rather than later.
I should also add that I'm in the Military. Don't worry, it is only Reserves for now. I may go active later but that depends on where I am and what is happening in my life in the next year or two.
