A Midwestern transplant, I have lived in Oakland for 10 years and have completely adapted to my Bay Area environment (except for my stubborn love for the Chicago Bears!). Cheerful and laidback, I prefer to spend the morning outside and doing something active, followed by an afternoon of lounging on a beach or in a park with some cheese, bread, fruit, yum.... I think I am slowly evolving into a foodie, which I partially blame on the restaurant rebirth happening in Oakland. Checking out the many unique restaurants and wine bars in the area is a regular occurance. Semi-regular occurances include weekend trips to Sonoma, hiking in Marin, kayaking, well, anyplace with water!
The guy for me is intelligent, ambitious and confident, but also playful :)
