I recently relocated out to San Francisco (from NYC) for a new job in Sports/Entertainment Marketing. I've worked in the field since college on the professional sports side (basketball!) and most recently for an airline. Basically I'm repaying my parents for feeding me as a child in my employment perks. This seems to be working for them.
I'm very active (former college cheerleader and currently teach group fitness/boot camp classes as a hobby) and really enjoying the outdoorsy lifestyle in the city. Moving here in January was key for my appreciation of the mild weather. 55 and sunny = paradise compared to my standard NYC winters.
I also love to eat/drink and will try anything. Apparently people in San Francisco are very serious about their food?! Definitely not a "foodie," but I enjoy trying new things and the fact that there are 2 places serving deep dish pizza within a half mile of my apartment is completely awesome. I think that deep dish pizza may be illegal in NY.
