Hi, I'm Ally :)
I recently finished up my B.A. in Community Studies at UCSC, and yes, I am a proud Banana Slug! I currently work in San Jose at a non-profit that I absolutely love. Work is not everything, but I am so fortunate to LOVE what I do and it's a big part of who I am!
On a less 'resume-ish' note, I love to travel, try new things, explore new places and do so with great company and lots of laughter. I've been lucky enough to travel throughout Europe and Africa, but there are so many places I still would love to visit. Sense of humor is definitely a must in everything that I do and I try and fill my life with people who do the same. I'm an ambitious, passionate, fun, and positive person. I'm looking for someone who has passions and ambitions of their own as well. So tell me about 'em... :)
Movies, coffee, good food, live music, friends/family all make for a fabulous weekend! I'm a dancer and a runner and like to work out as much as my schedule allows. I love dishing about politics, trying a new restaurant, finding a new, fun adventure around the Bay, hitting up a comedy club, catching a game (Giants, Niners or my brother's high school fb games)...
I'm an outgoing person and love to socialize, so hopefully you can keep up! Hosting parties and having friends over for dinner are some of my favorite pastimes. But, like most people (or at least sane people), I need balance. I love to BBQ and curl up on the couch with a good movie for a cozy night in.
