So...I'm new-ish to LA. I've been here about a year now, and I have to say that it's beginning to grow on me. I of course love the weather, but I'm definitely still trying to find my groove. This is an attempt for me to meet someone in this large, sprawled-out city.
A silly lady, and natural nurturer. I consider myself to be an intelligent, creative thinker with a big heart. I am comfortable in my skin, confident, and genuine. Most of all, I tend to be on the ambitious side, and strive to accomplish my goals. I lean towards being more independent than not, and like to surround myself with equally driven people.
I'm currently "doing" grad school. I'm working towards my MFT with a specialization in art therapy. It is an amazing program, and I am very proud with the journey I have decided to embark on. It has required a lot of digging, but I'm learning a lot and feel as though I've found my calling.
I just got back from San Miguel Allende, Guanajuato-Mexico, where I did art therapy at an orphanage. An amazing, life changing experience to say the least. I hope to go back in the near future!
