I try to always be kind and compassionate. I am easy-going and love to laugh with people. I have a sister and two brothers, so I have learned to not take myself too seriously and to cling to the TV remote and not let it go, or else I'll end up 3-4 hours deep into ESPN. That being said, I actually love sports, both watching and playing. I'm very active and love adventure. Some of my happiest times have been while traveling. I have a horrible sense of direction, so I have always viewed it as a miracle that when I backpacked through Asia for three months (without a plan, a cell phone, or any reasonable sense of how to find North), I was somehow able to return home safely. I rarely emerge from a subway with any sense of which direction to walk.
I like to push myself to be out of my comfort zone and always try to self-improve. I am very creative and like to write. I also like to paint and do pottery. I enjoy exploring New York City and experiencing new things.
I grew up in New Haven and lived in North Carolina for 6 years after college before moving to NYC. I still maintain love for the South and continue to get mileage out of my Cowboy boots (and country tunes--please don't let that be a deal-breaker, I enjoy all types of music). I always try to be authentic and focused on the things in life that matter. I'm a very loyal friend and am still friends with people I've known since I was 5. I believe in investing in people, and letting others know that they're important. I'm looking for a relationship that has chemistry and that's fun, affectionate, and supportive.
