Oh goodness, where to being... Welp, I'm Alex. I'm trying out Match just like the rest of you's, so I'll skip that part of the introduction :)
I'm a very easy going girl that cares very deeply about my friends and family. More often than not, I'm a total goofball. I love to laugh and try not to take life too seriously when I can help it. I love being outdoors (and grilling). I'm a huge fan of live music, snowboarding, football, listening to records, and hiking. Honestly, I'm down for just about any adventure-- from trying new foods, to investigating a construction site, or even skydiving. I'm down for whatever fun new opportunity comes my way.
I enjoy being social but also value my relaxation time. I read about outer space and watch ted.com lectures pretty often. I'm kind of a dork, but I'm at peace with this. I'm also interested in motorcycles, super nintendo, water sports and cooking.
My true passion is helping people. I'm currently finishing my final year of grad school for social work. I've worked in the special victims unit, child protective services, and now provide therapy for the chronically mentally ill in an outpatient treatment center. I'm very excited to work with such a fascinating population.
