I'm an extrovert. I will leave a room full of strangers with new friends. I'm often sarcastic and I'm an excellent smack talker, but I know a time and a place. I'm not a jealous person and can't deal with people who are. I have a friendly personality, so you have to be secure and confident. With that being said, I'm very loyal and faithful to my friends and loved ones. Oh, and I'm hilarious or at least I'd like to think so. The accent helps.
I spent 10 yrs in the military (I joined at 17). I have an Associates in electronics, but now I'm a full-time student at George Mason getting my degree in kinesiology with a minor in dance. Thank you GI Bill! I'm on the color guard and I create the newsletter for my local American Legion post and I was just elected 2nd Vice Commander because I'm apparently a glutton for punishment. I'm also a member of the VFW, AMVETS, DAV, 408, and the IAVA. I have a thing for acronyms (but really it's a thing for volunteering and how I spend a good amount of my free time).
I love putting on my jersey and watching a football game. I like cooking with a partner or company in the kitchen. I don't cry easily, but military and animal (especially dog) tragedies or heroic stories destroy me. I'm a terrible procrastinator, but always get it done and it's always good. I'm low drama. I have a country accent, but I don't fit the stereotype...I don't drive a truck, listen to country music, or hunt, but there's nothing wrong with people who do. My hunter gatherers know how to pick out a good cut of meat from the butcher and throw it on the grill. I'm young and vibrant with an old soul and I can bong a beer like nobody's business. However, I'm a lady that took etiquette lessons growing up, so I really impress grandmas. I can read and write Korean as slow as a 5 year old and speak it like a 1 year old and I study it whenever I'm bored. I don't dig pompous or smug people, but I can fit in amongst just about any crowd.
I have a pit mix who loves everybody and everything. Loving dogs (not tolerating them) is an absolute must. She is my best running buddy for sure. Speaking of running, I have some mean curves, but I'm very strong and athletic. I need someone who can appreciate both (match only lets you choose one). With that said, fitness is a huge part of my life and would love someone who shares that same passion.
