I lead a well-balanced life with equal time for work and play. I'm a well-mannered, even-keel guy, giving my actions and words just the right amount of thought to stay centered while still being true to myself. When I'm not busy being charming and witty...I'm alseep, hehe. I'm not afraid to take a risk, but I'm far from wreckless. Though I'm independent, I'm looking for someone ready and willing to take steps toward a great long-term relationship.
I believe Match is a great tool to meet other singles and I'm not the slightest bit ashamed to be here :) Some users treat it like a meat market but I'm not buying a steak for dinner. I'm looking for a genuine, lasting connection. I will read your profile top to bottom. Generally I'm never put off by pics but by a lack of content. I appreciate the simple things in life. I like to think way outside the box and boil conversations down to a their bare truths. I am sentimental and nostalgic by nature, and I love taking a walk down memory lane. I pen original hand-written love letters and I open your car door for you. I change toilet paper rolls and ask for directions ;) I love connecting with my inner child while embracing the realities of being an adult.
I like to bang my head at rock shows, grab a drink in dive bars, and go grocery shopping at 1 am. I like slapstick humor and Zen wisdom. I like tear-jerker stuff like soldiers surprising their loved ones, people defying disabilities, and moving tributes to those lost.
...of course I also have a plethora of guy stuff I enjoy. A good-make-that-great beer, almost any sport, foul humor, a good action movie, a bitchin' drum or guitar solo, decent metal cranked up to 11, you get the idea.
I like straight talk, clear communicaton, and I believe relationships work best when people work together and for each other.
I like girls that can wear jeans and a t-shirt without feeling under-dressed. Girls that know class is action, not words. If she understands football is to guys what shoes are to girls...perfect! I need a girl with a "we, not me" attitude. I work hard to prove I'm worth it so I would appreciate it if you do the same. :)
*Warning* Odd sense of humor. I do anything and everything I can to laugh, make others laugh...and occasionally get laughed at. 7 of 10 things I say to try to make you laugh will succeed. The other 3 things, well...I apologize in advance. I hope you have vision insurance...you just might pull something rolling your eyes at me!
