I love living in Houston. On a typical Saturday night I go out with my friends to try out one of the new places around town. I love to dance so sometimes we head to a place that has great music to dance to. Watching the people dance is almost as entertaining as dancing myself. I stay away from bars that are packed with people that have fake tans, and guys with pink shirts.
I enjoy volunteer work, and at least a few times a month will volunteer with a few of the organizations I am active with. Habitat for Humanity, mentoring kids, and volunteering at the Shell Houston Open are a few activities I do every year,
I love animals, and would own more than one if I lived in a bigger condo. I love being outside and just recently bought a lemon tree for my little balcony. The lemons are still green so I haven't quite figured out if they sold me a lime tree instead. I guess I will just have to wait and see. I like finding out what's going on in the city (festivals and concerts) and always try to go.
Family is really important to me.I grew up in a big family, with an older brother, and two younger sisters who are twins, so I was kinda like the middle child. We are all really close, except my brother lives in Japan, so I don't get to see him much. I want someone who has a close relationship with their family.Along those same lines I love traveling and have been all over the world and still have many places I want to visit. If you are willing to pack a suitcase and head somewhere exotic, or just simply a road trip to Fredericksburg for the weekend, we would get along great.
I am looking for a guy to be my best friend first. He has to love watching college football (big Aggie fan here), or at least be willing to watch it with me, even if we are at home in pajamas. He has to like my cat, or pretend to. He has to want to go out and be social, but also be willing to lounge around the house when I don't feel like going out. He has to laugh at my silly humor even if it lacks the funny part at times.
I don't want to date a guy who has pictures on here that he took in the mirror with his phone. Come on guys, we all have pictures from things we have done.
I have recently had a reality check that life is very precious and I have realized how important the people in my life are. My friends and family are truly the most important things to me in life and I make sure to treat the people in my life how I want to treated. I know I want a partner that knows how to treat a woman. Opening the car door for a lady goes a long way with me. I am not on here for a casual date, I want to meet a genuine guy with good values that can make me smile, laugh, and cry (happy tears). I am adding one line on here about dating people mainly within the loop b/c it seems like anytime I try to date someone farther than that they end up getting lazy and I need to actually see whoever I am dating on a regular basis.
